Golf Tournament 2024

On May 10, 2024 the Church of the Ascension held its 21st Annual Youth of Ascension (YOA)
Golf Classic. The event, held at the beautiful Heron Ridge Golf Club, attracted nearly 100 golfers, over 50 corporate and family sponsors, and many generous donors from Hampton Roads.
Once again, the Church and its terrific YOA Golf Committee surpassed its financial goal by raising over $25,000. More importantly, as the Church’s primary fundraiser, the Golf Classic will enable our youth to attend regional and national conferences, praise and worship events, and religious education programs – all aimed at deepening and enriching the faith of our youth.
As a proud partner and one of many corporate sponsors, MAP Environmental Inc is pleased to have supported and helped lead this event for the past twenty-one (21) years. We thank all our many friends, parishioners, and businesses who supported this year’s event and look forward to another successful tournament in May 2025.
