Winter 2025
To Hampton Roads residents and all those in the Northern Hemisphere, January is known and easily recognized
as the coldest month of the year. This month has not disappointed as Old Man Winter once again delivered – with rather frigid
weather and temperatures hovering in the teens and 20s the 3rd week of January.
Last week we were treated to a minor snow event with 2-3 inches of the white stuff throughout Hampton Roads, and higher
amounts in certain areas of Virginia Beach and northeast North Carolina. It was enough to close schools, give the kids
a few days off and create a few minor inconveniences in the workplace. It even gave us a chance to “kick the winter blues”
and catch a glimpse of the winter wonderland.

But maybe, best of all, it was chance to pause, reflect on the days, and the future opportunities that await us in 2025!
